Am Dienstag, 18. September 2018 endete das Leben von Norifumi „Kid“ Yamamoto. Der japanische Superstar erlag im Alter von nur 41 Jahren seinem Krebsleiden, das er erst vor wenigen Wochen publik gemacht hatte. Seitdem überschlagen sich die sozialen Netzwerke mit Trauerbekundungen gegenüber der MMA-Legende.
Der Tod der japanischen MMA-Legende Norifumi „Kid“ Yamamoto hat die gesamte MMA-Gemeinde betrübt. Ob alte Weggefährten, Kämpfer, die von ihm inspiriert wurden oder einfach nur Fans seines Könnens waren, sie alle trauern um den viel zu jung verstorbenen Yamamoto.
